To Host A Royal Thanksgiving...

‘Twas the eve of Thanksgiving, the fire was aroar, the napkins were folded carefully, a knock sounded at the door! The mashed

potatoes were seeping with melted butter the dishes were passed round’ , at the head sat a princess, atop her head sat a sparkling crown.

Hello Royals!

Part of living this life of a Royal is entertaining and of course, having the best holiday spreads! Today I will show you how to Host your own Royal Thanksgiving for future years!

Appearance Of The Hostess:

Thanksgiving is a holiday primarily focused on guests and of course family, so your looks are not a main focus, just be sure to adorn your fingers with your best gems! A sweater is the perfect holiday ensemble, it can be dressed up with necklaces or made to be cozy and casual. Of course, you cannot forgot your sparkling tiara!

Decor:

Turkeys, turkeys, turkeys! Decor can also be in fall colors such as burgundy, peach, orange, and dusty red. Roses are an elegant flower to decorate your table. As well as candles, which you can find tinted a lovely orange color. Use this as an opportunity to show off your fancy silverware and settings.

Food:

As the main course, turkey is always a favorite, though for a non meat option I suggest a bean casserole of a sort which you can find here:

https://www.thekitchn.com/recipe-smoky-sweet-potato-amp-black-bean-casserole-239326 - it is truly so delicious! Potatoes, regular are traditional, but of course you can substitute with sweet potatoes. Vegetables usually are Brussels sprouts, asparagus or spinach. Dessert is the main showing of you’re baking skills, so make sure to have the usuals: pumpkin pie or pecan pie and include ice cream as a pie hater (gasp!) option. If you‘re guests would like to be healthier, include a fruit salad. Use melons, strawberries and blueberries. Throughout the dinner, there are many gravies and potatoes to soak up, so use a dinner roll. Find the recipe below.
