Sweet Crumble Cinnamon Apple Tart

A delicious, cinnamon and sweet apple filling ladled into a soft doughy crust..

Fall flavors are the best! At least in my humble opinion... unfortunately for me, any last glimpse of a cool breeze fades with increasingly hot weather! Until August returns royals, just bake this apple tart and turn back the calendar to pumpkin and apple festival days!

This is macros and calorie friendly too! Let’s get baking!

Recipe:

{For The Crust}

1/3 TBSP Butter Substitute

1 CUP All Purpose Flour

2 TSP Sugar

3 TBSP Butter

3 TBSP Water

{For The Filling}

2 TBSP Water

4 Fresh Apples

1/4 CUP Sugar

1 TBSP Flour

1/4 TSP Cinnamon Spice

1/4 TSP Nutmeg Spice

1/8 TSP Pumpkin Pie Spice

{For The Crumble}

1 TBSP Water

2 TBSP Unsalted Butter

1/3 CUP Rolled Oats

5 TBSP Flour

2 TBSP Sugar

TO MAKE:

1. Preheat oven to 400*F and grease a pie dish with your butter substitute.

2. Combine the first three crust ingredients and chop butter into small cubes. Mix by hand (if desired) but works better in a food processor. Slowly add in water until dough forms.

3. Peal and core apples then chop them into thick slices before adding them to a food processor. (You may handchop as well) Combine apples with all other filling ingredients and mix. Fill crust with filling.

4. Melt butter and combine all crumble ingredients. Add spice from filling to crumble for an aromatic taste! Add sprinkles of crumble over the tart.

5. Bake pie for 20 minutes before turning down the heat to 350*F and baking for another 25-40, stopping when crust starts to brown. Let cool.

6. ENJOY! 😊

I hope you royals love this delicious dessert as much as I do! Its also guilt free, with these macros:
